What is Lifesycle in a nutshell

Lifesycle can do so much for an Estate Agency but knowing everything about it can be overwhelming. Here is a nice simple summary...

What is Lifesycle in a nutshell
Since the late 1990’s Estate Agents have used software to manage their daily work. They add their appointments to the calendar, they add their properties to the software to advertise it on the internet, add buyers and sellers to their database to keep notes and they keep track of their offers and sales using the software too.
 
What Lifesycle does on top of this is look at where all the opportunities are for more business inside all that daily work. For example, if someone looking to buy a property enters the database, Lifesycle will check if they have a property to sell (even if the agent has not entered that information, it will find out). If so, it will then check to see if that property is in the area that the area covers, following on from that it will not only alert the agent that there is the chance to sell another property here, but it will automatically start to put useful, relevant and personalised content in front of that person via email and social media.
 
Lifesycle will then keep an eye on if that person reads any of that content and again alert the agent if they do so, no matter if that is now, in 6 months or in 6 years, Lifesycle will just keep doing that forever and it does this on mass with hundreds of different types of opportunities that otherwise go unnoticed inside an estate agent’s database. So you can imagine, over the course of time, how many doors that agent ends up being presented as opportunities as the years roll by and the data grows.
 
Because Lifesycle also allows agents to let buyers set up automated property alerts this leads to the agent getting more buyer registrations directly than they otherwise would have done, as THEIR buyers get notifications about their new stock before they go up to the national portals database, which in turn leads to more of the above. We could go on and on about all the different automations and clever things Lifesycle does like this but hopefully this one thing alone allows you to see why it is so much of an advantage for those agents that use it over those still using their CRM’s to just store information.
 
Many Agents are just not aware that working this way is possible and that is our fault for not doing a good enough job of letting them know but for agents that are newer to the industry and have only ever used Lifesycle, when they get to see one of the other static CRMs that don’t help them out they are totally confused as to why anyone would work that way.
 
Our challenge is letting people know and then helping them with the transition of working a different way. Our sales and marketing take care of the first problem but the second problem of helping them with the transition is solved by our onboarding and coaching teams.
